That doesn't require an ideology. What you desire is for people to reach compromises again. You don't want the violence and fighting you see overseas in other countries to reach your home. Don't bother fighting, it's inevitable.

You'll fatigue before you even get done with trying to convince your family. Best thing to do, is to actually do nothing. You're not an inspiring leader or hero. Nobody wants or expects you to do anything.

The people you want to help do not deserve your empathy or effort. They're digging their graves believing garbage nonsense, so let them lie in it. Convince who you can, but otherwise stay under the radar and out of trouble. Time's your best ally and resource. That and observing what's going on, and figuring out who the hell you have to stay away from in this life.

It's probably not what you're looking for, but recently I've been thinking about Triumvirate government.

TWO elected bodies, but elected differently: perhaps terms staggered from each other, or perhaps one elected by men and the other by women. Each has a Prime Minister who is part of the Triumvirate. Each body can write legislation and submit it directly to the Triumvirate, but their chances of having it passed are better if they let the other body make amendments to it. Any two of the Triumvirate, suffice to pass the legislation into law.

As the tiebreaker between them: a de-throne-able Monarch. They're a regular Monarch, born into a line of secession, but the two Prime Ministers can pick another person from the line of secession (to some number of steps specified in the constitution) and call a referendum to replace the current Monarch with that other. Retired or replaced former Monarchs would also be eligible. A supermajority in the referendum would be required.

As to how we choose the first Monarch. I think a lottery of all citizens to form a short list (the first consenting 20 or so), and a popular election from among them, using preference voting. That does impose on their family a state of 'royalty' they may not want, but that's the least of the problems with my plan, wouldn't you say?

Exactly, I don't support genocides of entire races or groups of people, only the switching from strict government to a lax one and switch from regulated economies to free market ones, I believe all ideologies have some sort of merit, although that does not mean I agree with everything an ideology says.
