Well, it's more Democrats than anything. Regardless, retired Gen. Lloyd Austin is a good pick and one I was hoping he would make.

That said, he, like Mattis, would require a waiver of the National Security Act of 1947, which requires a seven-year waiting period before retired military personnel can assume the role of secretary of defense. Let's see if Senator Kirsten Gillibrand opposes this waiver.

No way they’ll take it. At that point if for some reason there was evidence (which we all know there isn’t) of election fraud, they would have to totally toss out any trust the public has in them.

Besides that, other than cases between the states, the Supreme Court doesn’t review evidence. That’s the purview of lower courts. If they had new evidence, scotus would remand to a lower court for further proceedings on the new evidence.
