Just trying to figure why we're apparently supposed to coddle Trump supporters given how they reacted after 2016.

BOO.

I like dogs, all kinds really. But dog people come in three kinds:

  • Little dog people: good people, can be a bit fussy, prone to Karening, or they live in an apartment
  • Normal-sized dog people: perfectly nice people, average a little better than no-dog people, who are fine btw
  • Big dog people: mostly assholes. If their dog is VERY big, or they have 2 or more, so asshole they're Respectable

Granted people have their own taste in breeds, so I shouldn't generalize, but generally the size of dog shows how much social status the owner thinks they deserve. And I don't regret the implication that Karens can be good people, they generally are but other people notice them at their worst ... ie when they're Karening.

Why should we "unify" with the people who called us racists and censored us, and on three occasions killed one of us?

Good. Make sure you read through every single post, to make sure you don't miss any predictions ;)

Boi, that's a lot of posts but I'll get it done. ;)

Awesome! I'd offer to help except I need my bed soon. TG if help 11 hrs from now would be any use.

I'd just do it quickly rather than carefully*, put up a list of links to them all, and ask if anyone feels left out.
Picking a winner might be difficult (I have some ideas) but it shouldn't be hard to pick who lost: anyone for Dems in Florida

I might need help but I'll see. I'll let you know by that time.

My family is already convinced there's fraud and they believe the speculation/assumptions of fraud to be actual physical evidence (they listen to too much Fox, Levin, Trump, etc.): they likely won't accept it until every lawsuit has failed and even then, they'll claim there's fraud. Ironically, Trump Supporters ridiculed Democrats tantrums back in 2016; now the tables have turned. I worry for this country.

Because some Democrats seem to be fundamentally incapable of understanding that Republicans hate them, and only hate them more when they "reach across the aisle".

Which is arguably why the states should have far more autonomy and the federal government scaled back

Face it, no matter how much Biden drums it up, there is no "healing the divide," so the best thing to do is delegate more power to the states so that more conservative states can govern themselves by their values, and liberal states govern themselves by their values. The Federal government should only step in when civil rights and basic freedoms are being violated, but not other than that

You're complaining about us killing 3 of you, in four years. That's less than one a year. Probably less than the fatality rate from badly maintained Fleshlights.

But OK, we're the Khmer Rouge. If that meme of choosing historically inaccurate analogies based on a scary name isn't tired out ...

Did you read the post?

The right to bear arms is explicitly protected in the constitution, that is enough grounds for the federal government to step in

Oh yes that's right. So you too although I'll officially check everything later tonight. Either way, we got a few people that were almost spot on.

Mmm, no, the answer to Republicans wanting total power over the US is neither to reach out and seek compromise nor to grant them total power over limited areas of the US.

Yes we do. AK is republican hold. Though interestingly the NC race is still undecided as they are waiting on some 170,000 votes and only 96,000 votes separate the two candidates

Well, that's the upper limit of ballots that will be counted. It would certainly be interesting if NC flipped this late in the game.

We need to unify as a nation, no if’s, and’s, or but’s. Creating more division will not heal us as a country. Even the president-elect called for people to stop looking at each other as enemies. I don’t even necessarily like Biden, but in this instance he’s right-let’s put down our arms and try to reach out to each other.

Now if he’ll double-down on that himself and try to encourage bipartisanship for real, and not just with nice words, then we might have something going. Our country is ill, and we need to work together to make it better.
