Honestly the tendency go think of America as this absolutely desolate dystopia is just disgusting when you consider the suffering endemic to places like Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, the Congo and many many others.

We all see the world in different ways, I guess. Mine is my own and yours is yours.

If you see the world in any way that has Saudi fucking Arabia as being better than the US than I suggest you go to the optometrist.

Nah, I wouldn't say that to people who are just being critical of the US and legit want it to be better. I will say it to people who actively say they don't want to be citizens anymore.

No no, not in some ways, if you are being honest and not just willfully controversial for the sake of it.

But why stop there? If the US is so bad why dont you go do the full pull and live in North Korea. It would be such a relief from the despotism every American faces on a daily basis.

To be fair, if 50 percent of the country believes you are subhuman hoping to change the country for the better may be unrealistic.
Then again, saying you will move to a country where 100 percent thinks that...

You could be much happier in Canada, the UK, Denmark, or any country objectively better than the US.

But whining about the US and wanting to go live in a place that is objectively worse, and largely not even comparable, is just nonsensical.

Worse than nonsensical really because it shows a total misunderstanding of any good things America has to offer, things that many people in poorer nations would love to enjoy.

Yeah, Biden is set up for some early wins however the charge will be he isn't recovering the economy quick enough, much like Obama.

Still, we have a couple of months of Trump fucking things about due to being a total sulk instead of a remaining president.

Depends on what they voted on. The Iraq War is a big deal.

Dear lord, the Senate was misled about Iraq, the whole country was. You know how many Senators voted for it and then regretted it literally months later when they got new information?

It might speak to poor judgment on Biden's part, and on the part of many Democrats at the time, but it doesn't make him a bad person.

He'd been advocating for war with Iraq long before it ever came to vote.
