Financial markets around the world have received a marked boost in the wake of Joe Biden’s victory in the US presidential election, with Japanese shares hitting their highest level for nearly three decades and oil prices also climbing.

Stock prices in Europe and New York were also expected to rise sharply on Monday after the president-elect pledged to try to bring unity to the US after four tumultuous years under the Trump administration.

"But but but muh bad eccomey beacuse demicrat wins!1111"- /pol/ reacting to this news, probably.

Gotta laugh when I hear people call Biden a communist.

I'm more of a communist than he is, and I am not a communist.

I'm not going to deny Trump's role in making things worse, but in fairness to him there's this thing in America where anytime anybody says to do anything, a very loud minority will always respond with, "screw you, you're not the boss of me!"

Then stop posting about how god awful the US is and how Arabia would be better.

Honestly the tendency go think of America as this absolutely desolate dystopia is just disgusting when you consider the suffering endemic to places like Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, the Congo and many many others.

Markets are really hyped for President Biden because it means more stimulus checks for big business. I'm not even lying, there was a WSJ article about this.

If Hayek was alive today he would pull a Cato and kill himself.

I think they're more hyped about there being the stability of a establishment president with a congress and court that can keep him in check.
That and they're reacting to the good 3rd quarter reporter and the fact that we should see a vaccine for covid in the next quarter.
