Folks, Biden just managed to net votes out of mail-in ballots in *Forsyth*, which is a massively red county that Trump is winning by 34% overall.

It's also Georgia's red county with the biggest number of ballots left. And yet Biden won this batch by 5%. Mail is very blue indeed.

If Georgia flips, Pennsylvania stays red, and Arizona flips for Trump, the score would be 269-269 and then it would be up to the House of Representatives. I'd be willing to bet Trump would win in that event, given that the House has a Democrat majority.

What Trump needs to do if Georgia by some miracle stays red is flip Arizona and/or Nevada for him. If Georgia flips, he needs BOTH of those states. If Pennsylvania also flips, he doesn't have a prayer.

Still wrong I'm afraid. In this kind of vote, the House votes by "contingent" of states. Under the current rules, states deadlocked (equal R and D members) don't count. As it was before this election, majority-Republican states outnumbered majority-Democrat states by a couple, and I don't expect that has improved with the new House.

Trump set a precedent of governing by executive order to do a run-around on Congress. Biden could choose to do the same.

Alternatively, Biden could appoint two blue state Republican senators to his administration, where those states have a democratic governor that would appoint a democratic senator to replace them.

That could happen but I doubt it. Collins would be one and Toomey could be another. Hes already said hes retiring in 2022.

Biden would never appoint Collins after Kavanope. Johnson from WI is more likely, as the dems would then likely pick up the seat in the special election.
