A house here in Ohio with a ”Dump Trump sign” was shot up, apparently. Assuming it was a Trump supporter (which I sense is likely) seems like a few of them are not coping very well with the potential of “their guy” losing the election.

Yes, that's perfectly fair if those are the established rules. The House of Representatives is determined by popular vote more than the Senate which is more of a statewide thing in that whoever wins should be representative of the most amount of that state as possible.

Representatives are voted in frequently and rule frequently. Whilst Senators are subject to the opposite where they're more deliberate and not subject to popular pressures to the same extent- having a guaranteed 6 years of term to be one of their state's prime leaders.

If Georgia flips, Pennsylvania stays red, and Arizona flips for Trump, the score would be 269-269 and then it would be up to the House of Representatives. I'd be willing to bet Trump would win in that event, given that the House has a Democrat majority.

What Trump needs to do if Georgia by some miracle stays red is flip Arizona and/or Nevada for him. If Georgia flips, he needs BOTH of those states. If Pennsylvania also flips, he doesn't have a prayer.

Nah. The forests of the Sierra Nevada are massive and it's some of the roughest terrain in the country, not counting the damage to pristine wilderness.

Which is based on the population of that particular state.

The minimum of 3 affords disproportionate influence to smaller states.

Increasing the number of House members would reduce that, without a Constitutional Amendment. The same minimum would apply (3 = 1 House + 2 Senate) but fewer states would have only 3, while bigger states would have lots more.
