Uh, no. Doesn’t say you can do that at all.

I remember reading a direct quote from it and it was basically thanking Allah for letting them steal and again, do very innapropriate terrible things, to women.

But that's just how I feel.

I and many Muslims interpret that as just asking women to dress modestly, not exactly the scarf. However, statistically, women who wear hijab, burqa etc. have higher self-esteem, less likely to have eating disorders, less likely to have mental disorders (especially those related to stress and depression).
Also, polygamy before Islam in Arabia was as many wives as you wanted, so Islam out a limit on that. Additionally, it can only be if you treat them all well and equally, and if you can afford it.

I may live in a very religious region of the US but I think religion shouldn't be taken as fact like what Muslim Christians and Jews think. I think religion is a good idea as long as it's not taken as fact. I think that no religion is correct and that religion should only be used as myth not reality, as long as it is just a myth I am ok with it and think it's a good idea.

I’m gonna guess it was either some radical site or some Islamophobic site that was misquoting the Qur’ân.

So, which one of them do you believe to be correct? Which one answers the most questions correctly, or which one makes the best arguments, which one is most logical? Is Christianity more correct than Hinduism? What about Zoroastrianism and Islam? Can they even be compared?

In my opinion, the most likely religion to be true is a polytheistic religion. My reasoning is that having competing Gods make more sense than having a single immortal God.

Polytheism doesn't make any sense because if the gods are not neoplatonic Ones (and logically they cannot be), then they still would require a neoplatonic One to bring them into being.

Either way, in my mind being married to multiple people is wrong.

I don't think there's any. Not even mine. A lot of faiths are more manifestations of one's ideas, one's hopes and dreams, or maybe even one's background or traditions. It tends to be one of those things, the way I see it. Ergo there's no right or wrong take in terms of religion, whether you have one or not.

That doesn't mean people shouldn't follow one - if you're fine with it and using it well then it should be fine.

They're all wrong logically, correct metaphysically, either socially acceptable or disgraced depending on location and/or culture. So... all of them are right, and all of them are wrong. Just do whatever as long as you don't get violent. Peace!

Polytheism makes sense if you view the idea of god as a powerful giant man in the sky who rains thunderbolts down on his enemies and rewards people for good deeds. That may have been what copper age primitives and even the ancient Jews believed God was, but the theology of monotheism has developed past such notions towards attempting to answer questions of being. If you ask a modern theologian why God is worthy of worship, it's not because he's powerful, it's because he is being. Not a being, but being, for if he was a being, then his existence would be contingent upon being, but rather being is contingent upon him.
