There are some fringe Christians who believe homosexuals should be stoned to death, and they exist outside of society in their own communities. Witness the WBC. Most fundamentalists, including myself, though we don't support homosexuality in any way, and think sodomy should be criminalised, do not believe it is a sin worthy of the death penalty. Because most people in British society think homosexual activity should remain legal, I'm wisely not open about having an opposite view even to family and friends, and I find I never get asked to opine about homosexuality.
