Weirdest thing that you ever experienced

We had this legend in the village I grew up in, which was fairly isolated on the East coast of Iceland (Husavik, if your wondering)

Every December, when the sun doesn’t rise at all for an entire week, there was a legend that at night, near the bay, the ghost of the SS El Grillo would appear, and that it would have an eerie green glow. I personally never saw it, but many people, including those who would never lie, absolutely swore they saw it, and when they brought up a camera to take a picture, it would just not show up on the screen

I had a dream once, when I was younger, where my mother turned into a Cyberman from Doctor Who and kidnapped me, then ran through a mirror like Alice in Wonderland or something, and ended up falling from the sky above central Mumbai.

TL;DR i saw a panther just vibing on top of my shed as a kid. Never told anybody until i was eighteen. Nobody believes me apart from my cryptid enthusiast dad. Similar sightings 10-ish miles away but nothing in the immediate area

I guess it doesn't have to be confined to one county. Devon, Somerset or Dorset maybe, as they're pretty close.

I think big cats exist, but as very small feral population (exotic animals were a BIG thing in the UK around the 1960's) instead of some ancient beast.

Its a tall shed, easily 9ft high. I know some dogs can be trained to climb that, but honestly I don't think it was a dog. Hell, I could be imagining the whole thing. I've always had some very vivid dreams in the past and i've gotten real life and dreamland mixed up a few times, and i've had plenty of nightmares. None of them ever translated into a day to day fear though.

I know exactly what you mean about the dream thing. I also had a dream I was an 11 year old boy named Bophine in a slum in Kenya. Funny thing is though, I'd never heard the name "Bophine" ever in my life.

I was once relaxing against a tree in the woods (back country camping trip) and a White Tailed Deer came up to me and sniffed my foot before walking off in no big hurry, then, shortly after a Wild Turkey strolled through my campsite, then I heard a scratching noise in the tree I was relaxing against, it was a Porcupine...I could have opened a zoo. I was obviously not considered a threat

Spent all my life thinking that was real, until i mentioned it in passing to my dad and he had no idea what i was talking about. Lol

I went camping once, with 2 others. I, for the life of me, can't sleep in tents, so it was like 2am and I was still awake, and then all of a sudden I heard a "Hee hee!" coming from outside, a Michael Jackson-like one. I shit myself. Everyone else I was with were asleep, but got woken up by it. This wasn't a campsite or anything, it was in the middle of Wales, far from anyone else. Still don't know what it was.
