Old thread, beware of gravedig...........

Cars are, these days, fundamental to city life. Invented by Karl Benz in 1886, the "Car" changed transportation forever. LOL, San Marino has more cars than people.

So.......what automobile do you drive?

2013 Honda Civic Coupe in navy blue. I always wanted a baby blue glossy with white side stripes but navy still looks nice.

I swear we just had one of these, but I drive a 2019 Honda Civic, the sedan not the coupe.

This is offtopic, but my nation got the issue "Drive My Car" on the same minute this was posted.

I waited for people to post before posting myself.

My daily driver is a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis LS, in silver, with a beige landau top and a light grey leather interior. She's Francesca and I've had it for over 3 years, lot of miles, because roadtrips, college to home, and doing Lyft.

Here's an example of the model, not my exact car, obviously.

I used to have a 1999 Mercedes Benz C280, it was white. (Example but in silver). My family has had Audis, BMWs, Volkswagens, even a Jeep, but not a good one. I still have access to my dad's "truck", a 2003 GMC Envoy XL with the 5.3 litre vortec V8, Another example, with a completely different color, for reference.which is a backup car, but it's an SUV, not a pickup, it does seat 7 and is fairly comfortable in the third row. Though vans and minivans are much easier to get into.

My family drives a DS 6, basically an upgraded version of Citroen SUV. The car brand is obviously not popular anywhere in the world, and is about to exit China lol.
We are going to buy a new car in two years, and we are mainly focusing on Volvo and Cadillac SUVs.

Edit: The DS was bought in 2015 and is brown.

I'm so surprised and delighted to see FAW, SAIC, and Dongfeng in the options. Finally someone is looking into Chinese automotive industry.
One thing is that they are mostly independent from VW, GM, and Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi and actually shouldn't belong to the options they are currently in. FAW has joint ventures with VW, Mazda and Toyota, SAIC has joint ventures with VW and GM, and Dongfeng has joint ventures with Renault, Nissan, Honda, PSA and Kia, so it's unfair for the other foreign car manufacturers too, I guess.
Besides, where are Chang'an, GAC, BAIC, Geely, BYD and Nio if SAIC is present? (just joking, I don't really expect people to put them on)

There are a lot of companies. I based my options on the biggrst car companies, and then tried to include as many subsidies and alliances as I can in one option

I don't drive myself, but my dad owns a Volkswagen Golf from I think 2001 though I'm not too sure. It's been in my family for 18 years.

Not for nothing I asked your wife. >:(

That does remind me I need to tg you and ask about it. The local park has put in 3 free charging stations. How many miles would a 2 hour charge give you?
