If they wanna keep losing TX and GA and hemorrhage campaign donors, yeah, they might. I'd expect new leadership instead. Someone like Sen. Sasse not Sen. Cotton.

If Sasse and Romney take back control the republicans would be in a better place. Though I have my doubts about their ability to take back control without a party split

That's a decision they'll have to make if they lose TX. Shedding the dead weight which would be Trumpism. I bet a bunch of Trumpers would forget about him real fast if he lost TX and GA.

I used leans and toss-ups a little differently than normal here. Safe means we'll probably have enough information to project how the state will go either on election day or on Wednesday.

Lean means we won't know the likely status of the state, but I think it's probably going to go a certain way. Tossup means we won't know the likely status of the state, and I'm not sure who will end up winning.

If things are like this on Wednesday, I'd give the edge to Trump in the legal battles that would ensue.

So, Arizona is know for counting votes fact: they'll have the results either Election Night or Wednesday morning.

I think they'll count the votes relatively quickly, but the race will be very close. There will be some late arriving absentee ballots that may not be counted until Thursday or Friday.

The situation would be similar in North Carolina and Iowa. In Iowa, the margin might be big enough for it to be projected for Trump. It depends on how many absentee ballots are late arrivals, or floating around in the postal system.

In all three, I think you'll see a blue shift in the days after the election.

Not necessarily. In 2018, Sinema won by 3 points but it took over a week for McSally to concede.

The irony is the same might happen with McSally yet again. Good god, why was she appointed.

God willing, her political career will be over in the next *checks watch*, week or so.

In this sort of scenario, yeah. If Biden matches or beats his polls, no.

Generally I'm predicting the polls are mostly correct, if underestimating Biden to a small extent on account of all the youth voting in this cycle that have historically been underrepresented in polls because of their historic lack of participation. Since polls have started accounting more for education I find it unlikely that pollsters underestimate Trump in the same scale they did in 2016, though it seems as though I'm in the minority on that one.

Any NSGers worried about violence are welcome to join me in Mexico post-election lmfao. I make a mean Pina Colada.

Probably because Trump supports their threats of violence.

I think violence is more likely than no violence at this point.

I can't wait for the paramilitary reprisals if their messiah loses. Those are going to be all sorts of fun.

Probably not so fun for all the people a few of them are likely going to try gunning down.

You shouldn’t get anxious just because someone who disagrees with you might win the election. I am a Trump supporter and we have different opinions from Anti-Trump people and that is fine because America is a free country and people are free to have whatever opinion they want. We are not like China or Thailand

Trump is the most corrupt President we've had since Harding, we have the equivalent of a Teapot Dome every single month. He's a detriment to the longevity of the Republic, let alone the planet because his idiotic climate policy, which need I remind is to actively make things worse.

Doesn’t preclude any other Trump supports from initiating violence or at least try to initiate violence, which is why we’re anxious since a number of them very well may seek out vengeance should Trump lose the election.

That is your political opinion, my opinion is that Trump is a great president who had the best economy in decades and record low black unemployment before the coronavirus (which came from China), and he strenghtened the US by supporting Hong Kong and creating the Quad Alliance with India, Japan, and Australia to fight China and defend Taiwan, and he killed Qassim Soleimani without starting a war. He also put conservatives on the Supreme Court who in my and my fellow conservative’s opinion are doing the right thing even if you disagree
