Oh no, it's not because they told me not to. For starters they're acting like Biden's PR campaign (censoring that NYP article for instance) when they're not supposed to, secondly they literally protect pedophiles and predators, thirdly they don't punish accounts that blatantly violate their terms of service. The latter two in particular are really bad things for any tech company to do.

As for the Democrats, have you seen what's been going on in their cities? They're not punishing rioters and looters while law-abiding citizens who are simply trying to defend their property are being punished instead. The affirmative action laws that they implemented in college campuses are still discriminating against whites and Asians (I'm Asian btw). If they're not the party of crime and racism, then I don't know what is.

Twitter's been abusing the "fact check" system lately. More critically in my opinion, and I hate having to beat an already dead horse again, they protect pedos and predators as well as accounts that advocate for committing crimes.

It isn’t Twitter’s fault that Trump is violating their policies by lying and promoting violence.

It isn’t the restaurant’s fault that you do not like the food if it was properly prepared.

To use that analogy, a restaurant is a Public Accommodation and cannot legally refuse to serve someone because of their race, gender or religion. Now I would argue that Twitter and Youtube are virtual equivalents of a Public Accommodation, in that they bring so many people together that "shopping elsewhere" for company is a much inferior option.

But it all gets more complicated when people exist on the service only as their own speech (and their choice of speech by others). The service is hardly more than a "place to be" and to stay popular it is better to allow a few people who are bothering others, than to exclude one too many. Becoming "exclusive" and raising prices is fine for a bar or club, but not for a virtual business which relies on advertising and harvesting user information. Losing customers is a death knell: they're no longer "the place to be".

I actually have no government prescription for Twitter and Facebook. Maybe some grounds to sue, for users aggrieved at their content being defaced or removed, but it seems basically too small a matter for the cost overhead of a civil trial to make any sense. Also it strikes a bad note of "money is speech". Really I think they're coping well, and maintaining the cooperation of most users, in rather uncharted territory.

The one kind of regulation Kyundao seems to want, prevention of political bias in the platforms, is the single worst approach government could take. Political speech is THE most important form of speech, and if it comes in the form of corporations censoring speech on the platforms they own, then that's just tough luck. If it was brought up four decades ago I would have said "you want to silence the corporations, absolutely comrade! Let's ban advertising on TV, radio and newspapers!" but when it's brought up now, by Republicans wanting to be heard over the censorship of their corporate enemies, I have nothing but gloating contempt. Ain't the free market a bitch?
