I wouldn't rule out an upset (though I am predicting against it) either -- but the premise that Alaska is going to be fertile ground for a less conservative senator than Murkowski in '22 is wishful thinking Lumen.

2022 is going to be an uphill battle, for sure. In the campaign world, the biggest fear is that a close Senate majority will hinder real change, thus fueling the fire for a low turnout, relatively tough 2022 midterm for the Dems.
Not a 2010 repeat mind you but a 2014 repeat, where the polls aren't necessarily that bad but low enthusiasm/turnout absolutely fucking kneecaps us.

Hopefully Democrats have learned their lesson and turn out in every election. If Democrats get the Senate by a wide margin its going to very hard for Republicans to get it back in 2022. Redistricting should also mitigate losses in the House should democrats keep or gain control of several key state legislatures.

Wishful thinking, without stakes that can be felt and heard, we can't expect record turnout. I mean, really.

Samesises.
I don't like being implicated and shamed in that group of people, so. Either it's not as common as everyone thinks it is or several people on NSG are vapid social media personalities.
