Muslims aren't the problem, but the Muslim brotherhood raising generations of radicals. A anti Muslim policy will only justify the middle easts view of western aggression on Muslim traditions and further push them away.

I wonder what the Muslims IN mainland France who hid Jews in their mosques and the Muslims who fought in the Free French army (they made up MOST of the army of Free France), as well as the Maghrebi Muslim camp guards who flatout refused to carry out Nazi and Vichy French orders against Jews, and the Imams who were part of the French resistance and forged passports for Jews that said they were Muslim, and the Imams who issued fatwas not to comply with Vichy French and Nazi orders to capture Jews would all think about your “Ensure France becomes French again” idea. Actually, the reason they are rich today is because of the Marshall Plan and the subsequent economic recovery, not colonialism as by that time, it was no longer profitable and on the way to extinction.

All the wealth Europe gained from colonialism was destroyed in WW2.

Compounded by the fact Europe has one of the best geography for trade, with it's bountiful rivers and inland seas.
