So, it pretty confirms what we already know and adds icing to the cake: that this was about Trump's re-election and that he would be the "open-up" President, which seems to be backfiring. My bigger question is: why in the fuck would say this to all people, Woodward? They do realize that Woodward would eventually release this stuff so it's even more painful how gullible (and narcissistic) they are. I'll give Woodward credit: he does a phenomenal job getting people to spill their guts. A great journalist he is.

To be fair, we didn't know what Trump was all about then. Oh we knew he was a clown and a race baiter but even I didn't see all this coming.

Besides, unlike Biden Hillary was pretty bad in her own ways, like her idea of bombing the Russian navy or establishing a no-fly zone over Syria.

The People Of The United States were to chose between some outsider who had no previous political experience, which could have been good or bad in which way you looked at it- or someone who wanted to go to war with Russia and set up a NFZ in Syria. Neither options were good, but I believe that the Trump Presidency despite it's flaws would still be better than a Clinton One

But he wasn’t just a journalist. He actively contributed to the policies of the Trump administration. If he sabotaged them, that’s one thing. But he contributed fully, and in my opinion, if he really cared, he had a duty to resign and reveal himself as the source. If everyone in the ‘resistance’ did that, Trump wouldn’t have much left to work with. But they weren’t doing it out of pove for their country, they were hedging their bets.
