If Trump's people have been listening to what people on both sides say about judge Barrett, he might pull the nomination and try again with someone guaranteed barking mad. Justice Bannon, anyone?
And the Founders in their wisdom put no numerical limit on how many criminals the President can pardon
Amy Barrett is already barking mad though.
She's a cultist and member of the evangelical Catholic organization that inspired Handmaid's Tale.

I take the view that justices influence each other over time, and though she might vote the 'wrong' way every time, it takes someone not-mad to write the decisions. If she really is a "literalist" she won't have much influence.

Anyone who takes the Handmaid's Tale seriously is a lunatic, and Barrett is not a cultist.
What does she believe that is out of the ordinary for a traditional Catholic?

Well exactly. Nothing crazier than the ordinary traditional Catholic.
If it's in the Catshitism it's probably right. I see no problem there.

And I'd like to repeat my point that "ordinary traditional Catholic" is quite crazy enough, when it comes to Supreme Court Justices. And given the assumption which ND hasn't challenged, that she will let her religious beliefs influence her judicial thinking.
Your case is that she's likely even crazier than that. Carry on.
