if a woman finds a gay man attractive, they shall be disappointed in short order

I am surprised and shocked we don't have a Thanksgiving thread this year. I have checked in the past and at least 4 pages this time right now.

My Family and I of 8 and 3 small Family dogs gathered yesterday at my favorite number one cousin's lakeside house, in Pembroke Pines Florida. We ate Turkey at the back yard's open porch with a roof, near the lake.

No swimming allowed in the lake, they have a swimming pool and Jacuzzi in the back yard.

I gave thanks to God for the best cousin, cousins, Family, and best 3 small cousin dogs I have and best there are in the world.

We all talked Politics and the elections, and we all strongly agree with each other, we are all Cuban Americans, Proud Pro Trump Republican Supporters, Pro USA, USA, USA, American Patriot Citizens of The USA.

We played Cubilete Dice Games, Cubans claim it as their own, but this is a lie, it is originally from Galicia, España La Madre Patria.

Image
Cubilete Dice Game, black dots, red dots, the numbers on those dices vary, Jack, Queen and King. You don't have to use the dice cup to roll the dices

It is said to be similar to Poker.

The rules vary from site to site, after learning the various rules, I like the way I was taught to play it the best. Where any hand has value. It makes the game shorter and more interesting to play.

Each player has 3 rolls.

The round game ends when a player wins 10 Points.

It was one of the most interesting and exciting game matches we have ever had:

I won a game with a Cañon, 5 Aces in 2 rolls.
My favorite number one cousin won a game with a Cañon, 5 Aces in 2 rolls and a regular 10 points game. Another Family member won a game with a Cañon, 5 Aces in 3 rolls. All 8 of us won at least one game.

At times several of us were tied at 8 or 9 Points each.

I was one of the two Republican Supreme Court Justice Judges keeping track of the game points results, in case anyone tried to cheat, as a few tried too, :) lol.

The Republican Supreme Court of Justices Judges would say, as Ana Maria Polo would say, He Dicho Caso Cerrado - I Said Case Closed, :)

This time we drank a few beers, no more than 2 beers each.

They have a Family tradition where they celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas one day early with the Family at their house, and on the actual day they celebrate with Friends at either's houses, at a Hotel in Naples or other Hotels, or take a cruise ship to a another nation.

Actually Cubans and Hispanics celebrate Christmas one day earlier than most Americans, so many celebrate both days, as I have done many times, especially in Chicago where we still have Family and Friends.

We have Family in California where I used to live, and a Province of Canada.

Naturally, not all main Family members could join us at our gathering, because of distance where they live like the one's in Deltona-Volusia County Florida, I recently posted about, and other Family commitments they have. GMS.

I feel like you're attacking me and I don't like that at all

Nah.

But being a straight man that sleeps with a gay man to assert his masculine dominance without actually being attracted to men doesn't count either

So I've been trying to learn some Christmas songs on the piano. I chose "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" because I love that song. Now I'm wondering if that's an inappropriate song for 2020 given the lyrics ("from now on our troubles will be miles away," "faithful friends who are near to us, gather here with us once more," "we all will be together").

And then, these thoughts started creeping into my head for some reason. Am I allowed to be happy when there are millions of people who are not? Am I allowed to look forward to Black Friday shopping tomorrow when there are millions of retail workers who are gonna have to be there in the early morning hours and work 15+ hour shifts for minimum wage? Am I allowed to want things for Christmas when they were probably made in a sweatshop overseas by someone who's only earning a dime each hour?

But on the flip-side, when the 6th anniversary of my grandma's death rolls around (December 17), am I allowed to be sad, knowing that 250000+ Americans have died of COVID-19 this year? Am I allowed to have rough days when there are millions of people who have it way worse than me (and I'm privileged)?

I don't know how to feel anymore and all of this dread was stirred up just because I practiced a song for 30 minutes. Maybe I should make a thread about this idk.

Yes, you’re allowed to feel the way you do even if others are perceived to have it worse. That doesn’t make you privileged. It makes you human.

Thanks. Idk sometimes I just feel like I don't deserve to be happy, especially when others aren't. And then I feel like I shouldn't be allowed to feel sad, because so many other people have it worse than me. Then I don't know what to feel.

That, and they managed to use their name to spread their climate activism, too.

It seems silly to change a medieval town name that had so much modern marketing potential. It'd be like if Llanfairpwll-gwyngyllgogerychwyrndrob-wllllantysiliogogogoch changed it's name to something like "Gogo". A major part of reason people go there is to photograph themselves with that sign.
