I completely forget the plot of The Lion King, all that's left is the impression I got that Scar was in the right.

I can understand Askari as a given name, but Taka? That's literally an insult, no wonder he goes by scar and holds a grudge against the other lions.

Absolutely. I don't even think it's fully sunk in for me yet that a year ago the world was pretty status quo and now we're... here.

Exactly. We've had a long time to adjust, but I still haven't gotten used to the new normal.

Edit: But being able to turn off my video in Zoom is actually not bad. If someone specifically says something about me no one has to see that I'm embarrassed by it. :p

Okay, this was bothering me. Looking up the meaning of Mufasa you get a lot of references to the ‘Manazoto language’, where it supposedly means ‘king’, but Manazoto doesn’t exist. At all. Not even in like, whatever Lion King lore there is.

That’s really weird.

I can accept that as an answer. ‘Mufasa’ sounds royal, and that’s all there is to it.

But who the heck came up with this nonexistent language explanation? That’s the part that’s weird.

So I think I'm digging too deep and learning too much, because one of the results for Manazoto (I'm bored, okay?) talks about Mu, the legendary lost continent, and a lot of somewhat ominous Bible verses.

I mean, it's Facebook, so that's to be expected, but still.

October has been rough for me. Someone I respected, admired, looked up to, and even once meet to has been releveled to be such a complete piece of scum that it's impossible to watch their old stuff without feeling sick. I've had two friends die defending their homes in a war that will likely continue despite calls for peace. And I've broken a foot keeping me away from a job I truly love.

I don't really want responses just for some woe is me and my life moment, I live with depression those responses can get tiring, I just want others to know that I enjoy being here more then can be imagined and I appreciate you all.
