I married for comfy loungewear and an unlimited source of body heat to leech from.

Also tax reasons and better school access.

I'd make a Vegas-related guess, but I'm not sure how to make that guess work as a joke.

It’s rather interesting to watch the leaves in the trees and other vegetation turn yellow, red and brown while there are butterflies, bees and other summer bugs still fluttering around like nothing.

I don’t know where you live, no need to say either, but at this time it year, where I live, insect activity has usually been greatly reduced. Not this year however. We have the same bug activity as if it were summer.

So the most interesting thing I’ve learned about chess is that the word ‘check’ actually comes from the game. In fact, both ‘check’ and the word ‘chess’ originate from the same Persian/Farsi word, shāh, which means king.

That’s a pretty fun fact.

Mad respect for george washington's long game.
Abolitionism in the North has leagued itself with Radical Democracy, and so the Slave Power was forced to ally itself with the Money Power; that is the great fact of the age.

The triumph of the Democracy is essential to the struggle of popular liberty
