I've lost a hundred pounds because of having to ration food this year. I eat about once a day now, though I haven't eaten for two so far. Blegh.

I've yet to convince the state that playing a video games from 16 years ago is important work but it wouldn't matter this time since I was scheduled to work today anyways.

Now there's a trip down memory lane! Back in the nineties a friend of mine had the RPG book of that game, in those days it was all about rolling up stats to write down on your character sheet. Never actually played the game, but I did read the book.

Easily, the job market there is much better than the one where I currently live.

Not yet. 2020 has been hell. At the start of all this, I wasn't eating for several days because me and my fiancee had lost our jobs and the car was broke. So we had very limited food. So I lost most of my weight during that period. So around 5-6 months? That and facing eviction constantly, and charities refusing to help, it's been rough. We were doing okay this past month, but a bill hit unexpectedly and then SO hurt her back real bad and had to miss a lot of work so we got less than $50 on her most recent paycheque. So it's been stressful.

I actually sat down a few days ago and came up with a plan on what we'll do if we do eventually default on rent and become homeless.

To a point, it's like $8 less than what she was making so paying for stuff like this flat has been impossible. Only reason we're not homeless right now is because of friends and family who have helped with bills.

If we could've gotten it flying, we'd have done so rather than hiking back. But no dice.
