Not really. You could say that about factions of Falange, but the Nazis were definitely leaning closer towards the economic right(still economically center, but rightward). They used the state to further economic hierarchy and rejected all forms of equality. They supported corporations and used hacking from many major companies in their rise of power. They harshly suppressed Unions and worker’s rights, targeting trade unionists in their murderous campaigns. They hated socialism and Marxism far more than they hated laissez-faire capitalism. They used welfare because the German Empire was already a welfare state and Hitler was a stanch traditionalist chauvinist(though he rejected the monarchy). And before you mention state control over many parts of industry, you should realize that leftism isn’t when ‘the government does stuff’. Marx didn’t invent the idea of government control of industry, since absolute monarchies existed. If communism is ‘state controlling everything’, then I guess the ideologies Marx viewed worse than capitalism(i.e. feudalism) are communist. Economic left v right isn’t government power, it is how much autonomy the worker has. Economic left believes in workers having more rights while economic right wants the employers to have more rights. If the worker doesn’t have a say in what happens to them, then you just have state capitalism.

Please repost this to Grill Pit, my reply was a joke. I find them centrist at best and centre-right at worst.
