Same with us Falcons. If only we didn’t have an idiot for a HC.

Ah well there’s always college football and MLB, at least my teams in those sports haven’t let me down. Though Lumi might be upset this week.

LSU and the Saints both seem to have defensive issues

Drew just doesn't know what to do with Mike Thomas out. He tried to get others involved, but he kept throwing it too wide thinking that they had the reach that Mike Thomas had. And the defense is just having major issues.

With lsu, you have 14 of your great starters leave for the draft, another two opted out of the season due to covid-19. Plus you have a quarterback who hasn't started a game for almost 3 years. And your star safety, and Derek stingley jr, goes in to the hospital due to an illness that they won't say what it is. not to mention, Mississippi state has a brand new head coach, brand new offense, and a grad transfer quarterback who dominated at stanford.

both LSU and the Saints need to buckle up, cuz it's going to be a difficult rest of the season.

I think it can be done. The Saints don't have too bad of a season ahead. LSU plays Vandy, which should not be too bad, but reality hates me so I don't want to say too much. Once we start playing ranked teams is when we'll have to buckle-up. Until then, the Ragin' Cajuns are having a fabulous season to start and I am HERE for it.

Back to the NFL, Patty Mahomes is going off like a boss. RIP Baltimore.

This game is pretty much a loss for the Ravens unless something really major happens, for now I'm watching Game 6 of the Stanley Cup, GO LIGHTNING!

Can this season just fuck off already? Fucking Christ, every time I check ESPN someone else on my team is done. Fricking fuck.

I swear Denver got hit with some kind of curse. Jurrell Casey was practically an iron man for the Titans.

Yeah, and our run defense looks like it's suffering big time without him. I hate seeing him go down.

Other news: That was a DIME from Jackson! Wow.

I think it's more that Kansas City is just at that level of good. They may go 16-0.

I’ll take a 12-3-1 week. Would’ve been 13-3 if I hadn’t frickin switched my pick!

Back to the funny picks for a new forum. Week 4.

Adam Gase is gonna be fired this week
Detroit cannot win in Ford Field, they’re not allowed to.
Pirates are somehow immune to electrocution (How fitting because the Lightning just won the Cup)
Maybe Joe Burrow can finally get a win?
Two imploding teams. Deshaun Watson needs help, and he ain’t gonna get any.
A group of Hawks make their migration down south and feed off the dead Dolphins on the seashore.
Yinzer Nation stands proud as they somehow take the division lead. (Don’t tell them that they already did that yesterday with Baltimore losing)
Oh good god the wastes of talent. McCarthy please pull another rabbit out of the hat.
The Predator becomes the Prey. I hope someone gets that joke. This is the joke.
The Matchup of the Midwest, Indy and Chicago. Yeah, I’m taking Indy on this one. Shame I can’t go to this one.
The Name Redacted deserves to be poached on a week to week basis.
Giants, you fucking suck.
Ooh, a retelling of the 2019 AFC Championship, literally, this should be a good one. New England gets the upset.
Hey Bills, don’t choke. The Raider air defense is garbage.
Wentz it over for the Eagles? Welcome to the injury bowl, prepare to get mauled.
Falcons, you get to die today.

Denver
New Orleans
Tampa Bay
Cincinnati
Minnesota
Seattle
Pittsburgh
Dallas
Arizona
Indianapolis
Baltimore
Los Angeles
New England
Buffalo
San Francisco

Okay, time for my breakdown of Week Three:

I did pretty good in Week 3, going 12-3 but screw that tie between the Eagles and Bengals: it shows the birds are in deep shit. My only other surprise this week was the Cardinals losing to the Lions, which I wonder how that's possible but okay. Either, I currently lead in the picks although I myself is not vying for the champion spot this year.

But god damn, we got some atrocious teams playing against each other this week: Jets and Broncos? Jaguars and Bengals (cat fight!)? Texans and Vikings? Eh...

Jaguars over Dolphins
Bears over Falcons
Eagles over Bengals Fucking tie, how?
Steelers over Texans
Bills over Rams
Patriots over Raiders
49ers over Giants
Titans over Vikings
Browns over Washington (Football Team)

Chargers over Panthers
Colts over Jets
Seahawks over Cowboys

Cardinals over Lions
Buccanners over Broncos
Packers over Saints
Chiefs over Ravens

Broncos over Jets
Cardinals over Panthers
Ravens over Washington (Football Team)
Cowboys over Browns
Bears over Colts
Bengals over Jaguars
Buccaneers over Chargers
Texans over Vikings
Saints over Lions
Steelers over Titans
Seahawks over Dolphins
Rams over Giants
Bills over Raiders
Chiefs over Patriots
49ers over Eagles
Packers over Falcons

Dammit, this impacts the Vikings too. We've also shut down in-person activities for the time being.

The Titans' de facto defensive coordinator, Shane Bowen, was in COVID protocol on Sunday and didn't travel with the team to Minnesota. The virus probably spread from him. Dammit...

I doubt it’s anything to be concerned about. None of these players are going to have an issue with it. Unless the teams decide not to have practice, which would just be ridiculous.

The Titans at least are shutting down the facility until Saturday, which means no practice for them at least. It'll probably mean their schedule gets delayed/shuffled around, but ultimately, their season will continue. Shutting down practice is not ridiculous when you consider the negative impacts of COVID on even healthy people. It's not the end of the world, and exercising caution is the best choice for everyone.

I have work to do to get my rankings back up. I think part of the problem is my underestimating teams who are actually doing really good this year. Let’s see...

Broncos over Jets (Is it possible to have a Tank Bowl in Week 4?)
Cardinals over Panthers
Ravens over DanSynders
Browns over Cowboys (You know what? Darn it. Let’s see them hit that next level.)
Colts over Bears
Jags over Bungles
Chargers over Bucs (I cannot afford for the Bucs to pull ahead of New Orleans in the NFC South.)
Texans over Vikings
Saints over Lions (Time to get a morale win!)
Titans over Steelers (I really think they’ve got it this time. Again, let’s see them hit that next level.)
Seahawks over Dolphins
Rams over Giants
Bills over Raiders
Chiefs over Pats
49ers over Eagles (I’m not sure but the Niners have been stable. Why is this the Saturday Night game and not the Pats and Chiefs game?)
Packers over Failcans

You mean Sunday Night, and tbh I don't know either, it should be Chiefs and Pats on SNF.

Yeah, that's a good point. It seems a bit strange that the NFL passed up that opportunity.
