Wow, Hurts just got strip-sacked. The Texans are still hanging in there, at least for the moment.

If that isn't a touchdown, this game is rigged.

No idea why anyone called that besides the ref who was only feet away, who said TD.

It's tied at the half. I'm actually impressed with how the Texans are playing. Tackling is really sloppy, but they caused Philly to lose a fumble for the first time this year. Their offense is playing decent, too. They actually have a decent shot to win it, especially since the Eagles are distinctly a first half team.

This game looks more like touch football than tackle football, anybody else feeling that? Not a lot of hitting going on, especially around the line of scrimmage

Well, run defense apparently isn't a thing tonight, but it's not quite seeming that gentle.

I watched most of it, I was in and out a bit. A weirdly solid game by both teams. I wouldn't write home about it, but the Texans played their butts off. I was expecting some 49-0. I don't expect the Texans to do well for the rest of the year, but it was a good performance and still better than most of the Broncos' TNF appearances.

I watched a majority of the game as well. Honestly was one of the better TNF games we had in a while.

At least we got a game to genuinely watch all 4 quarters off. Didn't expect that out of TNF with the Texans did ya?

Welp, we played a decent 2.5 quarters of football. A shame a football game is 4 quarters.

Also, good things happen when you give Dameon Pierce the ball, so give him the ball more, damnit. And again with Davis Mills throwing interceptions at the worst possible time, Jesus Christ. Can we just skip to the draft and nab his replacement already?

Don't do that, that's just repeating the same mistake that all of the teams that continually suck do. The way you get better is by first getting better everywhere else, then going for the franchise QB. If you have a good defense you'll always be competitive, and good o-line, skill position play, and scheming can mask a lot of deficiencies at the quarterback position. There's a reason Jimmy G has a 48-20 record and 99.1 career QB rating, and it's definitely not his raw talent.

Please, stop advocating for trying to come up with a franchise QB without a good core around him. A good QB can't magically fix all your problems. Throwing a young QB out into the meat grinder before you get him help is just gonna wreck the QB and waste the talent of the few good players you do wind up getting. Your best-case scenario if you draft a QB without enough support is probably something like Stafford and the Lions, and a more likely one is the nonsense that continues to follow the Bears and Jets.

Well I don't watch football on Amazon anymore. So yes.

And the Texans covered the spread.
