Reminds me of a survivor of the 1963 16th Street Baptist Church Bombing here in Birmingham who recently sought compensation from the state of Alabama due to the "decades of physical and emotional pain she has endured" (quoted from the full article here).

I say we pay this survivor If you or a loved one can receive financial compensation for being diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, Lukemia, or other diseases of the blood as a result of using RoundUp, then you or a loved one can receive financial compensation for being a direct victim of racial violence.

And yet very few are willing to move back to Africa despite the fact that Ghana offered them refuge. Also, the USA has several cities that are almost entirely African-American (East St. Louis, Gary, Detroit) but many blacks have LEFT those cities and moved to places with a smaller percentage of blacks? Why would they leave such cities if other races treat them so badly? Why are so many blacks in America working as managers, teachers, military leaders, entrepreneurs, professors, doctors, etc... if the USA won't give them opportunities to succeed? Furthermore, many Africans want to move to the United States. If the USA is such a racist country, why do so many black people want to move to the USA? A good post below details this weird fact:

Pretty sure the city is paying the damages, which is about as close as you can get.

Correction: Tulsa taxpayers will be footing the bill, including the 15% of Tulsa citizens that are African-American. I wonder how many of these taxpayers actually participated in the massacre. A teenager participating in the 1921 massacre would be over 110 by now. I doubt many children were burning down homes and businesses then. I guess the USA wants to be like North Korea and punish three generations for crimes.

Just off the top of my head, the life expectancy in Ghana is 62 years. The life expectancy for African-Americans is about 10-9 years more than that. Also, the lack of infrastructure, mass poverty, totally different languages and cultures, and lack of economic opportunities. Also...emigration is expensive, and black people tend to fall on the lower side of the income spectrum.

Also, the USA has several cities that are almost entirely African-American (East St. Louis, Gary, Detroit) but many blacks have LEFT those cities and moved to places with a smaller percentage of blacks? Why would they leave such cities if other races treat them so badly?
Poverty, deindustrialization, crime.
Why are so many blacks in America working as managers, teachers, military leaders, entrepreneurs, professors, doctors, etc... if the USA won't give them opportunities to succeed?
...This is a non-sequitur, and it's a very bad one. (As a side note, not many doctors or professors are black-only 6.5% of PhD holders are black, and only 6.2% of medical school graduates are. Also...most entrepreneurs fail, managers and teachers aren't paid that well, and it's just...well, a fact that black Americans have less opportunities than white Americans.
Furthermore, many Africans want to move to the United States. If the USA is such a racist country, why do so many black people want to move to the USA? A good post below details this weird fact:

So you admit that blacks in the USA are doing better than blacks in Africa (at least Ghana) despite being in a nation where there are so many 'evil' racist white people who hate them (as BLM claims).

You also admit that blacks have more opportunities for success in cities where they are not an overwhelming majority compared to cities where they are a huge majority (as we can see from moving patterns).

Managers get paid better than workers. This is why they have a higher rank in a business. The exception is restaurants where servers make huge tips. However, many blacks also work as servers in popular restaurants and make good money in that occupation as well. Teachers get paid well in certain states like Connecticut and California.

Perhaps in fairness, the USA should offer a free one way ticket to all black citizens back to Africa and the USA should try to work with African countries to get compensation in return for accepting blacks that feel they want to go back to their motherland. This would be the best solution for blacks that feel the USA is a racist hellhole.

Also, poor migrants from Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan are managing to make it to Europe. Black Americans are wealthier than most people in these poor nations. If they are unhappy, perhaps they can go to Canada and claim refugee status but it seems few think the USA is that bad. I think most blacks think the USA is good and a small amount are just trying to use white guilt to score free money. Scammers exist in all races.

The largest section of the Black community in the United States is African-Americans. The experience of every black person is not interchangeable. Furthermore, many black immigrants to the United States are already educated. With respect to them, that's a step ahead of many people in the United States, an advantage.

The Black community throughout American history and today have been severely mistreated.

Public services need to receive adequate funding. Providing the Black community in the United States with what most Americans take for granted is not entitlement, it's fairness.

I don't mean to condescend but how familiar are you with the practice of segregation, redlining, slavery, and why poverty effects who it does? I ask you because the past impacts our present. If any these things didn't happen to your ancestors or anyone you know, or you yourself, you're a very fortunate person in that respect.

It's recent enough ago and probably caused such multi-generational effects that there probably should be some form of reparation.

:lol2: I agree. Every living victim of the Tulsa massacre of 1921 can receive just compensation. Sounds fair to me.

When is England going to compensate me and other Irish Americans from driving us from our homes 200 years ago by their negligence during the potato famine?

Negligence during a potato famine 200 years ago is quite a bit different than murdering people less than 100 years ago.

Not really. 100 or 200 years, either way theyre all dead and we're dealing with the consequences today. A lot more people died in the potato famine and it was a little more than negligence. It was deliberate on the part of the British government

I don't think you understand the broader context of why the Tulsa massacre is so significant. It is one of many atrocities, including but not limited to slavery and segregation de jure and defacto.

Comparing the Irish Potato Famine to how the Holodomor happened or even to how the Holocaust happened is just historically illiterate bullshit made up by Irish nationalists.

It wouldn't be a good argument if any of the victims were still alive. If you're gonna compensate people at my tax payer expense for shit that happened to their great grandfathers I might as well get compensated for all the shit that happened to mine
