This is a good point; thanks. As there is a limit on the number of poll options, I am going to take a perhaps somewhat unorthodox approach and lump IT developers in with the artisans.

I feel like independent software developers are like the artisans of the digital age, and those who contribute to larger infrastructural projects could perhaps be compared to architects and masons.

I consider myself semi-retired, I "work" part time (without pay, but with certain benefits) at a Hydroponics shop. As far as pay, I live off the proceeds from well invested 401k's, savings accounts, and a recently aquired trust fund...

In college, studying biology and criminal justice. I want to become a forensic scientist when I finish. My dream is to become a medico-legal death investigator, but since there’s only 8 positions in the state of WV and I really don’t want to leave the state, I’ll have to wait for an opening. So I’ll work in the forensic lab until one comes open.

Just finished an enlistment in the U.S. military and have been job hunting, which has been fucking terrible considering it's 2020.

Maybe I should've re-upped? I probably would have if being junior enlisted didn't suck massive asshole.
