I think the only reason this has gotten out is because Trump isn't at the helm anymore and whoever is in charge of information flow in the White House is sick of his shit, or like some people say, this is another one of Trump's big 6D chess moves that'll pay off in the long run like denying Coronavirus was a serious issue and destroying foreign relations and not condemning extremism.

Nevermind that it was probably Trump's irresponsible, prideful denial of science that probably landed him in this shit to begin with, if it is true.

Biden seems to be handling this well. It's better to do the right thing even if your opponent would not in the same circumstances, lest we devolve into a rush to the bottom.

While I can't claim to hold a great deal of sympathy for Trump since he is a large part of the reason why the disease is till rampant in the US, I'm not the sort to wish him ill. Hopefully he recovers and has his stupid opinions on the pandemic being a hyped-up cold are knocked out of his head so win or lose in the coming election something will be done in a unified sense about the pandemic.

IMO, this is by far the most catastrophic thing for Trump and the party, unless they somehow manage to milk this for sympathy, which, hahahaha no.

Trump dying is sad for his family and all but the dude dug his own grave and then claimed the dirt being shoveled in his face was fake news. Most people are going to see that for what it is, and it's hubris.

Still a really harsh way to go...I had the virus at the start of February, a light version of it, but it was miserable for about the first five days and I still felt off colour and could barely eat or stay standing for two weeks afterward.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's more severe than we're being led on to believe though this is still early and a situation we should monitor. Right now, it appears he's good but possibly and gradually getting worst. Trump was given Regeneron's Experimental Cocktail, which I hear is promising but more work needs to be done since the average age was 44 in the study of 275. The cocktail, if administered in time, should help him but if could speculate, I think Trump will have some lasting health side effects that'll take months to recover from. Total speculation on my part, however, I should note.

To double up on my last post I wanna say I have earned some more respect for Biden over his response to Trump getting the virus. I still think Biden won't be a good president by any means but stepping back from campaigning and showing some civility, even when it's someone you dislike as much as Trump, is an admirable thing. Especially nowadays.

Indeed: Biden has a good heart, which yes, we can debate that, but deep inside him, he's a caring person. Not to mention, Biden has dealt with tragedy many times in his life: from his first wife and daughter losing their life to Beau dying of Brain Cancer. Biden knows that pain.

It's not really. Thinking LGBT voters only care about same-sex marriage, or even the broader platform of LGBT rights, is rather trivializing.

If anything, the 17% number is surprisingly low. It would be even lower if Pence was the R candidate, conversely George Bush was actually more popular despite the Republican militancy against LGBT in 2004. That was 23% LGBT for Bush.
