So, the SCOTUS pick is tomorrow and it sounds like Graham already has a hearing schedule lined up to do it ASAP. Gonna be really interesting to see how things play out.

What's sad is that this could work - America has insane news stories every single day, and we tend to forget about the really damning ones quite quickly. Certainly, this works in DeJoy's favor.

It's downright amazing, if they can pull it off.

There is no precedent. The GOP controlled the senate in both cases. For a party to block their own president's nomination to wait for an election is unprecedented.
Additionally there's the strategic reality that in both cases the democrats benefited from waiting, since doing so was a political issue that boosted their base's turnout, which is exactly why republicans should push it through. Both to deny Biden a campaign issue and to provoke the democrats into throwing more tantrums that will lose them even more sane people.
