Depends on how badly we continue to mishandle this plague and how many refuse the vaccine. If a vaccine's rushed, even a lot of people who hate anti-vaxxers will look at this through a jaundiced eye.

That the parties are different on social issues when pushed has not stopped them from the most bipartisan affair in American history: Economically selling out the country. And when it doesn't matter who you vote for, I call that a One-Party System.

I've already given up hope of seeing the world anytime soon or having any events to look forward to next year. At the rate we are going i doubt there will be much left what made the city I love so great.

I legit have contemplated doing the undocumented thing in Canada. Just like most of the undocumented immigrants in the US, I can drive in through the front door. Then...just don't leave. It doesn't matter where I am physically as far as work, I just have to work out housing in Vancouver and...not leave. I wouldn't technically be a Canadian but I'd be living in Vancouver among the Canadians. From there I could try and work out a path to getting citizenship n' healthcare n' shit. Honestly, things just have to go a liiiiiittttle bit better for me and I could pack the Bus and head north.

Eh, I wouldn't be so sure. At best, you'd see Xinjang and Tebet break off. Maybe Manchuria. But the classical China, with cultural influence from the Henan region (and more particularly, Erlitou culture) will probably stick together.
