By not looking like a complete idiot.

Which interestingly the conservatives are actually lowering the bar for Biden when they claim that he can’t debate Trump, he won’t show up, or that he’s mentally unfit.

If Biden shows up and doesn’t say anything stupid he’s won the debate by virtue of not fucking up thanks to how low the bar has been set.

No. Very few Biden supporters have suggested that. And actually it plays into lowering the bar. If Biden shows up they can claim victory

Indeed though Trump in recent days has been up-playing Biden's debate performance, saying Biden will do good and win, a complete reversal though it's too late for that: Trump has fallen into Biden's Trap.

Come out of it in a better polling position than you came in with.

These spectacle politics represent a dying empire.

These sorts of debates aren't won or lost in the context of the debate itself. They're exercises in generating news, in having the best one-liners and comebacks, in conveying the right image to fit one's broader campaign strategy, and of course in thwarting the other party from doing the same. It's entirely possible for both Biden and Trump to win the debate, or for them both to lose.

I would generally agree with this, though I am not sure there is much value to winning debates anymore.
Biden would be considered to win as long as he makes coherent sentences. Trump may be stupid, but he is better at thinking on his feet than Biden in these show-like situations. Trump was able to do some damage to Clinton in the debates and was able to make himself seem more relatable than Clinton.

Personally, I believe Trump is going to win re-election.

Got a couple good polls today:

Two polls done by the Washington Post (A+ Rated) for Arizona and Florida show tight race with Trump slightly leading. The breakdown:

In Arizona, Trump leads Biden among likely voters 49% to 48%; it also shows Kelly slightly leading McSally 49% to 48%.

In Florida, Trump leads Biden 51% to 47%.

And in Georgia, a poll by Monmouth (A+ Rated) shows Trump leading Biden among likely voters 48% to 46%. For the Senate races, Perdue leads Ossoff 48% to 43% while Warnock, Loeffler, and Collins are tied at 23%.

Georgia seems to be inline with other polls: showing a close race but Trump is the slight favorite. The polls by WaPo seem a bit of an outlier although they do show the race is close and a warning for Biden to heed.

Looks like the rumors of Governor Holcomb in Indiana being in trouble could have some serious legs. The Libertarian candidate Donald Rainwater will start airing TV and radio ads in the coming days.

It very well could be. The Arizona poll seems a bit odd though with Trump being tied or close in Pima county of which the county seat is Tucson doesn;t hold water. A Republican has not won it since 1988.

It also shows Biden up 13 in Maricopa which is two thirds of the state. It is mathematically impossible to lose the state with a margin like that in that county .
