The ultimate goal of conservatives with regards to LGBT people is genocide. This is why they are making steps to push gay people back into the closet, into a place where LGBT people can be easily corralled for extermination.

It would be children's books that depict LGBT people, LGBT couples, ones that aren't even sexually explicit. Different-sex couple good, same-sex couple bad, says conservatives regarding children's books. It would be banning transgender healthcare across the board, making it astronomically impossible for transgender people to get the healthcare they need regarding gender transition. It would be banning transgender people from participating in sports, even mixed gender sports. Eventually it will extend to every single LGBT athlete being banned from sports across the board.

Eventually conservatives will take away LGBT people's livelihoods and property, making it impossible for them to sustainably live. Once this is done, they will ban homosexuality, transgenderism, and gender non-conformity.

I think what they mean is that people who are queer are more outspoken about their identity. I don't really care about who you are or who you like, I just care about your personality. You don't see people running around with straight flags saying "I'm straight" but you do on the other side

That's why they don't. Also, considering the pain many go through after living in the closet for perhaps decades, i think they should get a little bit of lenience in saying proudly they are gay, even if it's a bit annoying. But, the vast majority of gay people you wouldn't even tell are gay, it's just pride parades and the awfully stereotyped media that paints them out to be so... fabulous.
