I have noticed a lack of LGBT related content anywhere here. It would make this site feel a lot friendlier, supportive, and less scary if there was a place to support others and get support from others, or just talk about your opinions on LGBT issues. Post LGBT related news, vent your issues, or build each other up. All are welcome, even if you aren't a part of the LGBT community. But please don't come here to flame or troll or yell slurs, it achieves nothing and will get you in trouble with the mods. If you genuinely don't like the community, please tell us in a somewhat civilized manner.

There are no LGBT issues , it's not your concern on LGBT. Only concern is social , political and economic issues. This issues seriously need to address.

To be fair to Floofybit I've never seen an act of anti-gay violence in my country either. I don't know where he lives but if it's somewhere in the West it's completely plausible to expect to never have seen or experienced any.

Your experiences are not universal, fortunately - and neither are ours (unfortunately).

It's the reason why people who are LGBT+ can sometimes feel comfortable endorsing more conservative candidates for political office. It's completely outside the Overton Window in a lot of places to start invoking anti-LGBT violence, regardless of what party you're in.

American conservatism is homophobic, though, so regardless of the inner feelings of any given person, by supporting the GOP they are being homophobic in effect.
