Republicans introduce a federal Don't Say Gay bill. The bill will deny federal funds to any institution that exposes children under the age of 10 to any material on "any topic involving gender identity, gender dysphoria, transgenderism, sexual orientation, or related subjects". Any library, any school, any hospital with so much as a pamphlet about sex ed would lose their federal funding. The bill also creates a private right of action for parents to sue any such institution if their child has been so exposed.

The bill also mentions things like stripping and nude adults and lewd dancing, so Republicans can give interviews on Fox about how they're just trying to protect innocent children from hardcore sex shows, skipping over how this would cost every LGBT person who works with kids their jobs.

The acceleration from "bathroom bills" to this has been insane. They're this close to trying to recriminalise homosexuality.
