I am LGBT but right at the other extreme; no pride badges or political activism, but still concerned over the state of things in the UK and US. About the only nod to it might be my current signature on here though.

I think that all the time but for the sake of a decent civil conversation with a member of the LGBTQ all I can do is reason facts and perspectives with them. That is if they even want to listen to what I have to say or just try to refute my argument at every turn. But may anyone forbid you from saying this to the community directly. And they think they are the only ones with problems in the country and that they should be prioritized over the groups who face similar discrimination longer than them but are not recognized.
