You could change the name of Washington State to American Columbia, to differentiate it from British Columbia. That way you could have AC/DC.

Fer gawds sake, LOL. Washington state should not be renamed, the name is fine. Knowing that the name triggers .0000000001% of the population is all the more reason to keep the name, hell even if it triggered 51% of the population even more reason to just rename every state to Washington, just name them Washington 1, Washington 2, etc.

To get back to the point. If there were some great upswelling of demand to change thr name of the state of Washington to something else. It should be up to the Washingtonians to decide.

There isnt any demand that I am aware of, so this is just a not so serious thread, but let the people decide their own fates.

That would be really tough on the post office. I think new jersey has like 6 Washingtons, plays hell with them.
