Ignoring the big wannabe tough guy murking about, probably the best way to honor RBG's legacy would be to donate/volunteer resources and time to various Jewish groups/charities/organizations, mutual aid funds, cancer research funds, etc.

Are you equating a judge with a dictator? Do you know how mind-bogglingly stupid that is?

Great men seek to destroy the legacies of their enemies, not uphold let alone "respect" them in any measurable way.

Does "destroy the legacies of their enemies" include civil rights? If yes then you might need to reconsider who is the real enemy here.

I strongly condemn my fellow right wingers for being disrespectful to RBG on this thread. I do believe there is a God and Spirits as I have posted a few times on NS. She is with God the Lord now.

While I strongly disagree with her leftists views, she was a tough as nails Lady and highly qualified as a US Supreme Court Justice, at times she sided with the other side, at times she sided with my side.

Yeah, Hitler died like the whiny little bitch he was, but off topic.
But we should not be viewing judges we disagree with as enemies to be destroyed anyways, that is a dangerous path to fratricidal civil war.

You can have respect for someone even if we disagree with them on certain political matters. I do not respect the politicians who are greedy, self serving elitists who screw us for their own gain, but she was not corrupt or anything like that.

We really need more people who can say "I may disagree with you but I will still show you respect." Seems like more and more people are rejecting that idea in favor of "if you don't agree with me then you're literally Hitler."

Normally people who have been nominated to the Supreme Court as with most of the lower federal courts have had a legal education and spent some time in practice and on the bench. The normally have a juris doctor, some years in practice and been on the bench of lower courts before. Not barely scraped by with a Bachelors of Arts in history in the third school after finally making it through without being kicked out.... then spending the rest of their life as what effectively has been a talk show host whose content barely passes as news.

Yeah, Trump might like to troll, but he is not going to appoint someone who is not a lawyer and experienced judge.
Although if he wanted to play it really smart but dirty, pick someone who is say an Asian, then play the rescue card.

I believe contempt and hatred, which are fostered by enimity, are truly 'weak' qualities.' It's easy to give into sin, and, burning with these emotions, derive a false sense of virility from them. 'Great men' who are driven by hatred are weak, angry little men who don't understand their deranged aggression is a poor imitation of strength.

We 'weak, pathetic' Christians respect all people, even people who regard themselves as our 'enemies'- people who are against what we stand for and we believe in. Because what we believe in is to respect all people.

True but Amul Thapar would be a politically brilliant choice. Not a woman, but very conservative and a son of Indian immigrants from Michigan with a childhood dream of being on the court, despite his parents thinking it impossible.
I mean you could really play that hard for some cheap political points.

According to Midrash ( Jewish tradition) only the most righteous people die on the eve of Rosh Hashanah. It signifies they were given that they were given the full measure of a year. May her memory be a blessing.
