As far as I am aware, American schools basically teach the Holocaust as the ONLY genocide that happened. Anything about Native Americans is relegated to "they caught our diseases" and a far-too-nice portrayal of the Trail of Tears. No mentions of Holodomar, Armenian Genocide, the Rape of Nanking, or any other such event, big or small. Definitely no arguments against Manifest Destiny, which is often portrayed as unilaterally good.

The amount of revisionism by omission is terrifying.

(This is not to say the Holocaust wasn't the worst of them and should be reduced in importance. Rather, all genocides, Holocaust included, are being misrepresented in a terrible way.)
