Earthly life is simply so well adapted to its environment (and also shaped it), that it looks like it's so lucky.
Other worlds with different environments deadly to us could have forms of life so well adapted to them that they also view themselves as lucky their world happened to be so habitable to them.
Indeed, there is only so much you can say with a sample size of one.
