I like seeing the chaos and unrest it could possibly forment. Its crucial that ways to undermine or defeat democracy in favor of a new order be realized. I don't believe abortion alone will be enough, but it is a stepping stone to a coup. We just need the strongman/leader to rally behind.

Oh yeah, found an interesting idea from a Christian minister on the topic:

"'The Unborn' are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make demands of you; they are morally uncomplicated, unlike the incarcerated, addicted, or the chronically poor. They don’t resent your condescension; or complain that you are not politically correct; unlike widows they don’t ask you to question the patriarchy; unlike orphans; they don’t require money, education or childcare, unlike aliens, they don’t bring all of that racial, cultural and religious baggage that you dislike, they allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn......you can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love, if you want to claim you love Jesus but actually dislike people who breathe.

Prisoners? Immigrants? The Sick? The Poor? Widows? Orphans? All the groups who are specifically mentioned in the Bible. They all get thrown under the bus for the Unborn." - David Barnhart

that's a longish way of saying i actually hate people who breathe, when i only really loathe authoritarians

but seriously, the loss of human potential with each preventable abortion is something i can't abide by -- yes, growing up in an orphanage can be traumatizing, even under the best of conditions; yes, you'd probably want to look for your biological parents, whether or not someone adopts you -- but you know what?

i'm going to sidestep the fact that i'm a guy with a dick and two balls, and say that even that pain felt on both sides is nothing compared to the world before each of them

here is a world where you can be -- even if you can't be of assistance in tapping that kid's potential, who's to say that someone can't?

It’s an odd one, that’s for sure. It’s not really addressing the pro-choice argument as the woman wants to continue the pregnancy while the guy is pressuring her to get an abortion. It’s a bizarre strawman that I’m assuming was meant to criticize pro-choice men, but it’s a scenario that pro-choice people would object to anyway. 2/10

So I refuse to watch the video. From the brief description, pro-choice individuals would say that the man does not get to choose if the woman gets an abortion. He can try to convince her, but in the end it is her choice and her choice alone.

It's basically an inverse of the "man forcing woman to keep a pregnancy when she wants an abortion" stereotype with a "man trying to force woman to get an abortion when she wants to keep it" plot, along with a few embellishments thrown in to make the pro-abortion strawman look more unreasonable and petty.

The most depth it has is the unemployed pro-abortionist calling the fetus a parasite while getting money from his employed wife.

No actually.

It's about men who support abortion being lazy deadbeats begging women who they got pregnant to get one when the woman in question (Who also financially supports them) want to keep it so the guy can keep shirking responsibility.

Basically, it's dumb and further proves my jar theory.

So, are we going to get a revised Roe v. Wade or is it going to be a complete repeal?

Nah. The nuclear hot take remains the concept that IF preserving life is more important than preserving bodily autonomy it should not just be applied to pregnant women - but to all, including men. So if I can use your body to save lives, you should let me. Even if that causes you discomfort or even lasting harm.

another video that's made solely for pro-life audience, not all men are lazy like that, this is just labeling. There are all kind of men.
Like pro-choice love to pressure women into having abortion, that's not the case, we support the women right to choose, that include if she pursue her pregnancy against the wishes of her entire family, because something that can happen.

I do agree to that
the real effect will probably that hospitals in state accepting abortion will have an additional on them, as they will have to take patient who cannot have abortion in their own state, that or illegal abortions.

Fixing? Its not going to be interesting it will be horrible. It would turn off so many women to the Republicans it could possibly save the House and Senate for Republicans and maybe even a few governors. Put politics aside the amount of suffering and pain it would cause is too depressing to think about.

Republicans have been trying to overturn Roe v. Wade for decades, the women who already support them are against Roe.

Republicans won't lose voters by banning abortion, because they've very publicly wanted to ban abortion for decades. Their supporters all already know that Republicans want to ban abortion, and continue to support them even so. There'll be some people who never thought the leopards would eat their face, but in general, Republican supporters are going to continue being Republican supporters if they overturn Roe.

They might not, but it might help democrats rally their voters back into action.

It's unfortunate that we won't know until June what the decision of the Supreme Court is.
