Here in the UK we have about 1-2 months of sun and then the rest is rain. I actually like the rain.

Oh I can definitely bear the heat. It regularly hits 90F/32C during summer.

i guess the rain there is more of a peaceful, quiet, cold rain while here the rain is loud, too much to handle, stupid, annoying.

usually I would say winter because I live in a tropical hellhole despite being a lilly-white anglo-germanic mutt, but lately I feel like spring is(which it is here now) since the air smells sweet when I walk past people's gardens, it's sunny but not humid and flowering macadamia trees are especially beautiful

We're at a high elevation, so it's comparatively cool compared to other cities, where the summer heat regularly hits 45

Probably autumn. Autumn isn't too cold for us, and I live in the middle of nowhere, so it's proper relaxed.

Autumn. The colder weather reduces the degenerate and hoodrat behavior of the summer, but it's still warm enough to enjoy being outside.

Of Zigarozia wrote:Winter, 'cause where I come from it doesn't ever go below 15 C, and I get to wear jackets. I like wearing jackets.

Not me.

Summer for the win. And not the lame Wisconsin "summers" where 15*C (59*F) is a normal low temperature most of the season, either. Growing up, summer was also associated with celebrations and freedom, especially considering I didn't like school, and when you combine that with preferring warm weather and not wearing tons of layers, summer has always been the easy choice when it comes to my favourite season.

What I'd really like is if it stayed warm all year, and I could pull off a "No Pants November". The high temperature has to be at least 70*F (21*C) for me to wear shorts, which happens in November around here only a couple of times per decade on average - so I'm clearly in the wrong state to participate in No Pants November, though I have made it the entire month of July without wearing pants before.

The worst season for me growing up was always spring - yes, I hated winter, especially when it would drag on into March and April (i.e. most years around here), but April and May were always the time of year I was least happy. By that point in the year, I knew I was burned out from the school year and desperately wanted it to be summer again, and everyone else was burned out too, students and teachers alike - so the teachers all seemed to think it was a perfect time to unload a whole bunch of big assignments and projects, and make a whole bunch of new rules up that just made no sense and only made the final stretch of school worse.

My birthday is in December. That doesn't mean I like winter, or even the month of December at all. My birthday, when it is remembered, is just an excuse for people to point their fingers at me and say "you're old, you're gonna die soon"; every new age I reach has the effect of making me feel like I'm about 90 at first. Too often, my birthday is overshadowed by the other big holiday that comes just four days later, which completely zaps all the enjoyment out of the holiday especially when it starts so early, the music is the same overplayed few songs year after year after year, and even my own parents would be badgering me about what I wanted for Christmas each year before November was out. Let me enjoy the month that for me is the quintessential fall month; don't make me think about Christmas already when my favourite holiday hasn't even happened yet!

My power ranking of months:
1. July
2. June
3. August
4. November
5. October
6. January
7. September
8. December
9. May
10. April
11. March
12. February
