It's clear we need to make fun of America more

Three tornados in just one week in Queensland.
And the PM's still dilly-dallying around net-zero by 2050.
Honest thoughts:
I get it, 'Queensland has always had bad storms, 2011 floods happened, and you weren't screaming about it then' - oh, sure, people were. It's just social media activism wasn't as big then as it is today. The scientific community knew about it - the IPCC knew about it - before the Queensland floods hit - Exxon was one of the first to discover this - through its own research - and actively fuelled climate change disinformation for decades to come.

https://www.sbs.com.au/news/qld-floods-linked-to-climate-change
But it seems that, one, we've been getting worse rain events. Which is great, for farmers and all, but right now, even with all this rain, a good part of Queensland is still drought-declared - including some of Australia's prime food bowls.

To ppl who might say, "Climate change has no impact on weather systems", I say, "Okay, but how come we've just had three supercells strong enough to create tornadoes in Queensland this past week? That's not normal for southern Queensland."
How come during the Black Summer bushfires, the Gold Coast Hinterland - which is rainforest, caught on fire? Answer: Years of drought and little substantial rain.
Subsidising green technologies is great, and I openly encourage it. I think it's the best shot we have
at decarbonisation.
But net-zero by 2050 - without a better 2030 target to go along with it - isn't going to work.
While coal is on its way out, oil and gas are set to replace it - which seems to be what our government's going for
with this whole 'gas-fired recovery' crap.

And if the articles I've linked above are anything to go by, I can't put it into words
how much the international community have failed us.

If cemeteries are running out of space maybe compulsory cremation could be something that happens in the future.

An even better idea is to have people opt in for "burial pods" which iirc puts a human body inside a pod made of biodegradable material and buries it in the ground, then over the years, it grows into a tree.
Compulsory burning of bodies just seems... Off?

My question is, "why?"
Also, on an unrelated note, why does Wondabyne station exist? It's the only station in Australia to not have a road connection....
just the creek

Not making videos, per sa, just trying to get people to listen to me
