you can actually see brexit destroying the UK in real time
Why would the UK be destroyed over a student exchange programme?
Also a genuine question but why do people make such a big deal over Erasmus? It was definitely a nice thing for students to have (or should I say is, considering it will go on until the next academic year) but the intense coverage of one quite small detail about leaving the EU here and some other places (Reddit primarily) seems quite disproportionate considering it is something that realistically affects only a small percentage of students. I've looked around for some statistics for how many British students actually take part in the programme and the best I can find is 0.5% of students using it in 2012/2013. I don't know a single person who actually took part in Erasmus, both of the institutions that I studied at were far more interested in offering opportunities to go out to partners in the US and particularly China anyway.
