No, and going forward, you should apply extreme suspicion to any and all claims made by anybody who said such an utterly absurd thing.

Really, anything fundies say should be approached with caution.
Yugoslavia's back baby...

How the hell did this happen?
Well...we don't actually know. Sure, there's factbooks and stuff, but they don't really matter because the owner of this account is a lazy, unproductive, indecisive loser who may or may not have a thing for half human hybrids, big mechs and even bigger ships.
Is it a reunited Yugoslavia in the 21st century? Is a rebel colony world in the far future? Who knows, who cares?
New Yugoslavia just is.

“No one in the world can change Truth. What we can do and should do is to seek truth and to serve it when we have found it. The real conflict is the inner conflict. Beyond armies of occupation and the hecatombs of extermination camps, there are two irreconcilable enemies in the depth of every soul: good and evil, sin and love. And what use are the victories on the battlefield if we ourselves are defeated in our innermost personal selves?”

Have you actually met anyone who is/wants to be a scientist? Do you actually know anything of the scientific process/science that hasn't been reaped from science fiction films?

NTM that even in Revelations it implies quite strongly that the people faced with the Mark will know it is the Mark explicitly. This is just Elon Musk's latest pipe dream.

You literally have no idea what AI is. Moreover, you very clearly did not read the discussion that you just jumped into the middle of, because it wasn't about fucking AI.

And in I, Robot and the whole Robot and Foundation series it was people's fear of progress that was more often the antagonist than the robots themselves.

There's not even research pressure towards self-aware AI.

People only want an artificial intelligence to solve very complicated but also niche problems for them. Why would a physicist concerned with cosmology waste precious AI resources on a machine that's also a great conversationalist? Specialization saves us again!

I am cautious of this. IF (and that is a big if) it could do what it is saying, then I think it should be looked into. But I would reserve it for those it is necessary for. Also I would want it to be done by someone who is not Elon Musk because I do not trust him.
