That's not good. Were they protesters shot by police? Protesters shot by vigilantes? Police shot by protesters? Police shot by vigilantes?

In your hurry to get in first with the news, you've overlooked everything but the headline, then drawn your own conclusion ... which is suspect on the face of it. Many many peaceful protests have been bumped from the news by violent dickheads turning up and using the protest as cover from the police, to smash and burn stuff. You know that. So there's no way you're just being objective when you ascribe violence to peaceful protesters. Three peoole have been shot, one fatally. That's terrible!

It won't stop. The police are incentivized and encouraged to be violent, and are often shielded from any and all consequences of their violence.
