Yeah...so this young man who went to try and keep the community from being burned to the ground should not be found guilty of anything major. If you watch the videos he was literally being mobbed. Anyone would defend themselves.

If the government can't keep an area safe people WILL do it themselves.

Perhaps this will spur the government of Kenosha and Wisconsin to put these riots down. If they don't these incidents with people defending towns and rioters will continue, and nobody wants that.

This is a dangerous situation and the ONLY way to resolve it at this point is to END the riots quickly. We'll see what happens tonight. There's a curfew and supposedly its going to be aggressively enforced.

Regardless of the wisdom of going to a riot with the intent of defending local businesses, I find it hard to believe any claim that the boy was even partially responsible. From what we can see, he instigated nothing. He didn’t antagonize the people that attacked him. The worst thing he did was skip town, which we can pretty reasonably chalk up as the behavior of a scared kid that had to defend himself multiple times, taking at least one life.

I would prefer the kid stay his ass home where he belongs. Yes it was self defense, but it was a totally unnecessary confrontation that involved someone with a soldier complex traveling to a place he didnt even live in.
