I just really want to know what the breaking point is for the Trump base. If the guy outright saying "I lied about the severity of a virus that killed 200,000 Americans isn't enough," I'm inclined to agree that there is no breaking point anymore.

lol, I got it every time I support President Trump and the Republicans, from the leftists anti Trump Persons on NS, I am always wrong and they are always right, according to them, I would not expect anything less from them than negative posts on Trump, the Republicans and myself. I don't really care, but I point it out.

What you all don't understand all the personal and political insults at me, only honors me more, and increases my wish to see President Trump reelected as he deserves to be reelected, according to my Political views and of those who agree with me. Today it seems he's desperate to get a shot in somewhere. Everyone else is demolishing his comments as he pretends to not know about the Woodward book and tapes.

It won't move the needle much in terms of support given we've seen some Trump Supporters flat-out call COVID-19 "a hoax", but I do see two things happening:

1. The support currently being maintained by both candidates will solidify and

2. Undecided/third party voters will have a tougher time supporting Trump, especially after admitting he knew the dangers of COVID-19 but downplayed it anyway.

Undecided/third party voters are smaller group this year. As WRA has mentioned, people have made up their minds regarding Trump, which isn't good for him given he needs as much support as he can get. This also doesn't help Biden either but I think we can expect those that were somewhat committed to Biden will fully back him now. It doesn't help Trump either that he has a -12 to a -15 net favorability rating while Biden's is somewhere between -2 to +5. Trump doesn't have the benefit of going against Clinton this time, and that has made some Democrats, who sat out, more eager to support Biden as the nominee.
