And if McConnell gets killed before he can bring up a vote then well all hell breaks loose.
I get it it’s not fun to think about but sticking your head in the sand isn’t going to do you any good
Oh c'mon Therm, what the hell are you doing? McConnell isn't going to be killed, we're not going to have massive riots in the streets because of this untimely death of RBG.

It’s kind of hard to set up an army. They will probably go the route of terrorism ala McVeigh.
I mean, we’ve seen this episode. They hole up in some nowhere place and get surrounded until someone gets bored.
There isn’t going to be a civil war, it’s just a silly thing people say to avoid talking about the election in a thread dedicated to the election.
Like, maybe Trump has an inclination that he’s not going to win.(CNN)President Donald Trump on Saturday said that Republicans have an "obligation" to fill Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's vacant seat on the Supreme Court "without delay," as Democrats argue the Senate should refrain from confirming a replacement until after the next president is sworn in.
"@GOP We were put in this position of power and importance to make decisions for the people who so proudly elected us, the most important of which has long been considered to be the selection of United States Supreme Court Justices. We have this obligation, without delay!" Trump wrote on Twitter.

Disagree heavily on the underlined. People will absolutley turn out and protest and inevitably riot if the GOP rams through a nominee.

I’m just saying that if McConnell was killed shit will hit the fan like we haven’t seen in a long time. Riots won’t happen because of RBG’s death but because of McConnell getting killed and then right wing retaliations.
I’m just saying I im not going to be surprised if such an attempt on his life occurs before the election.

Doubt.
Once again, most people don't know nor particularly care about the composition of the Courts. I am the only person I know who can name every member of the Court.

A feature documentary, feature film, a regular character on SNL, the go to costume for your politically active female character in a tv show, even Family Guy drops references to her. She might be the only justice most people know.

Protests, yeah, we had protests over Kavanaugh as well. But large-scale riots? Well...come to think of it, maybe, we've gotten **better at rioting this past year, though the same types who protested over Kavanaugh (largely middle-aged women) don't seem to be the types to riot.
