I did read the names, I happen to know this is allowed, that we can post the article with the link, the signatures are part of the article. What is not allowed is Pics. Thank you for your concerns.

I skimmed the names, finding it rather suspicious that veterans would choose not to give their rank. I dunno, maybe Privates (etc) aren't supposed to give their rank. It's pretty annoying though, because there's no way of knowing if a common name found on the internet is actually that person.

One name I looked up was Aliscia Andrews. Turns out she was in the Marines. Veteran of Haiti.

Greater Miami Shores wrote:
Exclusive: Nearly 700 U.S. Veterans Issue Open Letter in Support of Trump.

Nearly 700 American veterans have issued an open letter affirming their support of President Trump against establishment media attacks weeks before the 2020 presidential election.

This week, The Atlantic journalist Jeffrey Goldberg published a story citing anonymous sources, claiming that Trump did not want to visit the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery at the site of Battle of Belleau Wood in 2018. The story, citing those anonymous sources, claims Trump called the cemetery “filled with losers” and referred to fallen soldiers who died at Belleau Wood as “suckers.”

In an open letter obtained exclusively by Breitbart News, about 674 veterans wrote that their support for Trump, against attacks by the establishment media, remains unwavering because of his record of supporting the United States military and ending foreign wars.

“Recent baseless media attacks against President Trump from anonymous sources are just another example of the depths to which the President’s opponents are willing to descend to divide the nation and meddle in this election,” the Veterans write.

“Anyone who knows President Trump has seen his love and reverence for our military and veterans. That is why we, veterans from every generation, are writing today to reaffirm our support for President Trump,” they continue:

We heard these same attacks in 2018 immediately following the President’s trip to Paris, and they are just as fake now as they were then. The false allegations center on the President’s canceled trip to a military cemetery, which has been proven to be a “bad weather call” made for safety and security reasons.

This has been proven by internal White House emails from the time, as well as by documents from the U.S. Navy, which clearly described weather as the reason for the cancellation.

While the media relied on four anonymous individuals to manufacture the story, many more current and former White House officials have stepped forward and, on the record, refuted these baseless allegations. These on-the-record voices include the Secret Service agent in charge of the President’s detail and John Bolton – a vocal critic of the President – who described the “bad weather call” in his book and now says he did not hear the President say the things being attributed to him. No one should take this story seriously.

Throughout his administration, President Trump has consistently stood by our men and women in uniform and cared for them once they have returned to civilian life.

From groundbreaking legislation that provides veterans with real and permanent health care choice, to the largest-ever investment in the United States military, to his firm commitment to preventing endless wars and bringing troops home, President Trump has demonstrated his unwavering support for America’s service members time and time again.

Moreover, he has spent countless hours as president visiting battlefields and cemeteries, honoring Gold Star families and comforting them in their grief, and praising wounded warriors and honoring their sacrifice.

The veterans condemn Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden’s record on military and veterans issues, writing “the Mainstream Media hurled this baseless attack against President Trump because they know Joe Biden’s record simply does not stand up to scrutiny, and they seek to distract the American people from that fact.”

The veterans continue:
Under the Obama-Biden Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs was a disaster and our military was decimated. Today, Joe Biden is running on a radical left-wing agenda that would further weaken America’s security and standing in the world. Joe Biden’s friends in the media know he does not deserve the support of our nation’s service members, so they have fabricated a total lie in a desperate attempt to attack their opponent.

The American people have learned to discount lies spewed by anonymous sources and paraded around by a biased media bent on destroying the President. President Trump’s tireless efforts to strengthen and support the military community are a part of his indisputable record. He has done more for our nation’s service members and veterans than any previous administration. The veteran community firmly rejects these lies from the mainstream media, and we stand by our Commander-in-Chief, now, and on Election Day.

There are veterans who support Trump, and there are veterans who don't. They're a significant portion of the US population, so this is not really novel or surprising, IMO.

If he said these disgusting things on tape, I'm sure you could scrounge up a list of veterans who would still gladly support him.

GMS - Alberto.

I did read the names, Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis is on the list. Quite a few Republican US Congressman are on the list. Personally, long posts do not bother me. Personally, long Posts broken down into paragraphs do not bother me, no matter who posts it.

There are also many other persons on that list, nearly 700 or so. They are not all us congressman and Senators, I did not see even one Senator. Either way they are Former US Veterans. I know you all don't like it, when you see Former US Veterans support President Trump, but they do.

Fancy that. Even some Republicans support Donald Trump. Who would have guessed?

Are there exactly 700 names? That would be good. I'd only have to find one name in the whole list, who signed but isn't actually a veteran, to prove it's a fraud. I'd better get to work ...

The article is also long, I did read the names, there are former US Veterans on the list, it says Sergents, Captains, Lieutenant Colonels, Doctor, US Navy Petty Officer, Private First Class, The Honorables, Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is on the list, US Congressman, and US Congressman candidates, who are former US Veterans who support President Trump. I said nearly 700 as the article says, I did read the names, but I did not count the names.

As far as I happen to know we are allowed to post the article with the Link, the signatures are part of the article. That said, I might be wrong, but as far as I happen to know we are allowed to do so.

You think "nearly 700" is a lot of veterans.
There are 20.4 million veterans in the US.

You're touting a document signed by 0.0003% of US veterans.

And here I am arguing about it. I really need to get a life.

Saw a clip of Biden talking about Trumps alleged remarks about soldiers and the military that came out recently. Man was furious, rightfully so given one of his sons served in Iraq

I did read the names, Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis is on the list. Quite a few Republican US Congressman are on the list. Personally, long posts do not bother me. Personally, long Posts broken down into paragraphs do not bother me, no matter who posts it.

Yeah well, they bother everyone else so why not try and ounce of fucking courtesy for a change and spoiler that shit instead of just listening the the sounds of your own farts.

Naturally, 20 million, 400 thousand former US Veterans are not going to sign any letter in support of anyone.

I am just posting the article, the letter and the signatures.

As far as I think I do, we are allowed to post the articles with the links, that said, I might be wrong. If not I would never have done so, because I don't want to get in trouble with the Mods.

An open letter is basically like a petition. It looks like they went to every congressperson who was a veteran (or the Republicans at least) and that's what they got. I'll do the numbers on that soon.

They could have got millions of signatures, if they'd got a list of veterans' names from the VA and gone door to door. But that would be a lot of work, and also involve getting punched in the face quite often!

Regardless of how many it is, or how they got it, these former US Veterans, US citizens support President Trump. I doubt anyone can get millions of legal signatures in support, what you seem to be suggesting sounds illegal. Naturally, 20 million, 400 thousand or so former US Veterans are not going to sign any letter in support of anyone.

Greater Miami Shores wrote:Exclusive: Nearly 700 U.S.

Greater Miami Shores, I have edited your post to spoiler the list of signatures in your post.

Posting hundreds of names unspoilered was completely unnecessary. Do something like that again, and you may find yourself warned for spam.

Thank you.

Yeah well, they bother everyone else so why not try and ounce of fucking courtesy for a change and spoiler that shit instead of just listening the the sounds of your own farts.

Please don't bait him.

His refusal to spoiler the spam list of 700 names was indeed exceptionally discourteous, but that bit about 'the sounds of your own farts' was unnecessary.

This is a disappointed wagging of the finger, not an informal warning.

I really don't care that the Republicans found 700 veterans who were willing to sign a letter saying they support Trump. If they wanted to, I bet the Democrats could find 700 veterans who support Biden and have them sign a letter saying so. Doesn't change the fact that both candidates are terrible, and I'm still voting Howie Hawkins once I get my ballot in the mail.

You could probably find 700 of any kind of veteran, with a pool that big. Maybe not trans-sexual veterans?

Ah! 700 homeless veterans who don't like Trump. That would be easy.

Left-wing Utopia

Earlier this week, Biden made an attempt to draw attention to the improvements made to the incandescent light bulb by the black inventor Lewis Latimer, but in traditional Biden fashion managed to completely cock it up and instead stated a black man invented the light bulb. (The commercial light bulb was actually invented by English inventor Joseph Swan) Good try Joe, but maybe in future write your interesting facts down on cue cards before repeating them, it's much more effective if they're correct.

Watching Biden go against Trump is like a comedy film. Trump is out here saying things like "Windmill noises cause cancer" and Biden meanwhile goes "We hold these truths to be self elevedent. All men and women are created by...oh you know the thing."
Leftist, commie and Antifa Guy. Democratic Confederalist, Anti-racist

"The devil is out there. Hiding behind every corner and in every nook and cranny. In all of the dives, all over the city. Before you lays an entire world of enemies, and at day's end when the chips are down, we're a society of strangers. You cant walk by someone on the street anymore without crossing the road to get away from their stare. Welcome to the Twilight Zone. The land of plague and shadow. Nothing innocent survives this world. If it can't corrupt you, it'll kill you."

I am sure the Democrats can find 700 or so US Veterans who support Biden, but it does not change the facts that 700 or so US Veterans support Trump. I know and I understand Democrats, Biden supporters and others don't like it, but they do support Trump and they are US Veteran citizens.

In your particular case you consider both candidates terrible, and you are voting for Howie Hawkings, since you as an American citizen support Howie Hawkings, because you consider him the better candidate, it is your democratic right too do so, it is called Democracy in America, the USA, and your different, personal, economic, political and social views.

The democratic right and respect to think differently exists, in this sense respect is not earned, it is given.

It does not mean you respect the person, you can strongly disagree with them, but you respect their rights to think differently than you do.

Like Black Republican African American supporters of President Trump are not mentally ills persons. Hispanics, Asians and whites too. As a few leftists have said on these forums black African American supporters of President Trump are mentally ill persons.

I got side tracked by the recent incidents pertaining too me. I was going to post at the appropriate time, today, actually yesterday,

I met a Black African American Republican supporter of President Trump, and we chatted in English, and I will state what he said without giving his name, it was awesome, the guy is a cool dude too, regardless of Politics. I will be posting about it with article links related to it at the appropriate time, I have not made a decision yet on the time, it might take a few hours or a few days. I have met a few more at the Trump rally I recently attended and posted about, as I am allowed to do, and will do so again, a few times from time to time.

I will try to make it fair and balanced like the first time I did, like the lady in the car who gave me the finger, :) lol, I just laughed, lolled and considered her insult an honor with Pride on my part.

You met a guy. The guy said stuff. You're going to post about it. Wow, that's amazing.

I remember you going to a Trump rally. And posting about it. A black bus driver gave you the finger, or something. I asked, but you couldn't tell me any of what Trump said.

So about this awesome Blue African American Republican Trumpet Player? I think you should write the post now, while you still remember what he said.
