How is it a false equivalence?

Good thing you didnt attempt to explain how it's false equivalence, you would have looked ridiculous.

I've seen left wing youtubers endorse violence against political opponents, something I certainly never heard of Steven Crowder doing.

Leftism as an ideology is built on the use of violence against political opponents, so this really isn't anything new. Violence isn't a consequence of leftists' rhetoric, it is contingent upon it.

Leftist YouTubers bitch and moan about the right on the platform, but the truth is that they are very powerful on these platforms and use their platforms to suppress those with whom they disagree with, often with force. Leftist YouTubers will openly call for guillotining people whom they dislike and YouTube will do nothing about it. The social responsibility then lies at the everyman's feet to ignore and marginalise these people.

Under capitalism we've been poisoning the world for decades, knowing very well and in ever growing detail that we are all very fucked if we don't stop, but we don't stop because there's still money in it. People like Steven Crowder get paid big money to swaddle capitalists in the comforting lie that global warming isn't real, because they need that lie to justify continuing with actions that the know are making global warming worse.

Capitalism is an economic mode of production. Capitalism has nothing to do with environmentalism. Do you think people would be more environmentally conscious if we were under communism? Do I have to remind you that the world’s greatest polluters are the Chinese Communists? What does a system where individual people have a freedom to spend money as they please have to do with the state of the environment, whose major polluters are illiberal states like China?

You just don’t know what capitalism is. As more people become environmentally concious, the markets will respond to that demand. See Tesla, for instance.

Well, yeah, quite literally. Even by their own admission. The government acknowledges that what they are doing right now is trying to have an industrialized capitalist society so that they can transition later on to socialism and, further down the line, communism.

What is the point here? Free trade between China and the West has greatly boosted net incomes in China and resulted in a market boom the likes of which has never been seen. If you are trying to suggest that Western countries are to blame for pollution in China, then you would be dead wrong, as China's greatest polluters are Chinese-government owned industries.

Liriena wrote:Well, yeah, quite literally. Even by their own admission. The government acknowledges that what they are doing right now is trying to have an industrialized capitalist society so that they can transition later on to socialism and, further down the line, communism.

This is false. The upper echelons of the Communist Party have realised, correctly, the communist and Marxian economics is utter hogwash and have since abandoned it in favour of state capitalism. State capitalism is not capitalism, however, as capitalism posits that the means of production should be owned by private individuals. Since the state is not a private individual, state-corporate ownership is not capitalism.

Nevertheless, China is still built on socialist and communist principles, and although they have abandoned much of Marxian economics, there is still strong state planning which oppresses economic and therefore social freedom.

It should probably tell you something about the efficacy of communism if every attempt to implement it has resulted in state capitalism.

Weird, I thought they were going to the real communism the one that's been inevitable for the better of two hundred years but keeps not happening and keeps killing huge numbers of people every time someone says it's going to. Regardless, we've established you don't like freedom or money so your response to this issue of freedom and money can be wrapped up in a neat little bow.

Here's a cool way to find out whether something is really communist or not:

Does it represent the communist ideology? To check, please look to see if it's stateless, equal, and worker-run.
If that's the case, it's probably communist. If not, it's not communist.

I wonder which category a country with an authoritarian government, a massive wealth gap, and sweatshops falls into. Hmmm...

Communism is the ideology with the intent of establishing a communist state characterised by everything being mutually owned and stateless. Therefore, it is more appropriate to characterise communism as a means to an end rather than a potent ideology, where socialism is the ideology that drives forth communism.

With this in mind, every attempt to establish a communist society should be ajudged as reflecting of communist ideas. It seems rather interesting that every. single. attempt. to establish a so-called communist society devolves into totalitarian governments committing political suppression at best and mass murder against their political opponents at worst.

You just don't understand what communism is. But we've already established that you don't know shit about fuck, so what's the point arguing?
