The last few months haven’t been very friendly to dictators, it seems like. From Evo Morales to Lukashenko to Nepal’s dude, is 2019-2020 the year of dictator’s collapse?

Kind of off-topic - They say the Belorussian language is closer to Polish and Ukrainian languages then to Russian. While others say its a mixture of Polish and Russian. So which is it. However, they do say only 20% of those in Belarus speak Belorussian. The majority tends to use Russian.

Both Belarusian and Ukrainian were heavily influenced by Polish, during the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, that's why they look a lot like Polish.

Lukashenko must go, but the people of Belarus should be allowed to enact change themselves. This really can't be another Ukraine which for all intents and purposes it certainly looks like it might be. External powers should stay well clear.

According to many people, democracy is when you have free markets, and dictatorship is when you don't have free markets. Morales opposed letting western corporations strip mine his country therefore he's a vile dictator who needed to be deposed to bring freedom to the Bolivian people.
